Visual Jazz, a continuing art series that captures the improvised feeling of jazz music.
Each piece is hand-drawn in black and white media while the music of a jazz song (preferably John Coltrane) plays in the background. The inspiration for each piece comes from the rhythm of the music, which is reflected in the pen strokes. The drawing is then scanned and converted into a digital image and infused with color and edited.
